Ipswich Town have confirmed the signing of experienced goalkeeper Nikita Runnacles ahead of the new Women's National League season.
Nikita, 28, joins Town following a season at divisional rivals Billericay Town and becomes the club's fourth signing of the summer.

She started her career at Colchester United, progressing through the centre of excellence before going on to make her senior debut for the U's.

Spells at Millwall and West Ham United followed before joining C&K Basildon, where she played alongside current Town midfielder, Paige Wakefield.

Following a club exodus in the summer of 2018, Nikita subsequently joined Billericay Town and soon established herself as the Essex side's starting stopper.

In addition to a successful playing career, she's also a well respected coach within the Women’s game, with experience at the Essex RTC (Where she coached alongside Blues boss Joe Sheehan) and Barking Abbey School.

Latterly, she has been involved in the England national setup, coaching goalkeepers for the Lionesses U15's.

Nikita will wear the number 1 shirt for Town.
