This weekend will see the Club celebrate #HerGameToo at the Tractor Girls FAWNL Southern Premier Division clash with Southampton on Sunday, as well as the men's first-team fixture against Cambridge United on Saturday.
The Club partnered with the campaign in February which aims for women and girls of all ages to feel confident and safe sharing their opinion about football online and in real life without fear of sexist abuse.
Our dedicated weekend will see a variety of activity taking place which will showcase the opportunities for young girls and women at the Club.
Both the men's and women's team will wear #HerGameToo warm-up t-shirts to raise awareness of the campaign.
The matchday programme at both games will have #HerGameToo content throughout, with the logo included on both front covers. Participants of the Community Trust's Wildcats and girls EPDC centres will receive tickets to watch the men's first-team take on Cambridge, whilst all U16s go free with as paying adult at the Goldstar Ground to watch the Tractor Girls on Sunday.
In the FanZone on Saturday, the Community Trust will be running girls only coaching sessions which will take place from 1pm. The club's Community Trust girls programme will also be the ballgirls for the match. Members of the Club's #HerGameToo WhatsApp group will be present in the FanZone and happy to talk to anyone wishing to find out more.
Ticket sales for Town's visit of Cambridge have surpassed the 23,000 mark.. Meanwhile, tickets for Sunday's crucial clash with Southampton are available to purchase on the day from the Goldstar Ground.
