TOWN ANNOUNCE RETAINED LIST

Town boss Joe Sheehan has revealed Town's retained list ahead of the 2019/20 Women's National League season, with long-serving duo Jac Ball and Cassie Craddock among seven players departing the club.

Jac joined Ipswich Town from Colchester Town in 2015, quickly establishing herself as first-team regular and one of the top full-backs in the Women’s National League.

​She departs the club this summer after making 93 appearances for the Blues.

Georgia joined Town from Billericay in February this year in a double signing with Amy Nash.


The rapid forward went on to score twice in 7 appearances for the club.

Cassie had two spells with Ipswich Town, initially joining in 2015 before returning to the club in the summer of 2017 after a brief stint with Lowestoft Town.

Her most memorable display in an Ipswich shirt came in January 2018 as her brace in an FA Cup 3rd Round tie saw Town take now Women’s Championship side Charlton Athletic to extra-time.

​In total, Cassie made 76 appearances for Town, scoring 15 goals.

Gemma joined Ipswich from Lowestoft Town in the summer of 2017.

​A versatile player that has performed well at both wide midfield and full-back, Gemma went on to make 38 appearances during her time at Town, scoring 3 goals.

Amy joined Town from Billericay alongside Georgia Box in February this year, quickly establishing herself as a first-team regular.

​The exciting winger made 10 appearances for the Blues, with the second of her 2 goals for the club coming in the Suffolk FA Women’s Cup final at Portman Road.

Harriet joined Ipswich as a 16-year old in the early stages of the 2017/18 season, making her debut against Walsham in the Suffolk FA Women’s Cup.

Town after making 35 appearances during her first two years in Women’s football.

Toni joined Town last summer as a forward, having previously had an incredibly successful career in the higher divisions as a goalkeeper.

​After becoming Town’s new number 9, the experienced striker soon became a first-team regular, scoring 9 goals in 22 appearances for the club.

The Club would like to place on record their gratitude to the departing players for their immense commitment, effort and service during their time at Ipswich Town and wish them the very best in the next chapter of their careers.


The Tractor Girls return for pre-season on July 4.
