Issy Bryant

Town announced last month that Issy would be departing the club after agreeing a four-year scholarship with the University of North Carolina Wilmington in the United States. The 18-year-old forward, who made her debut aged 16 on the opening day of the 2020/21 season, departs the Club having made 5 senior appearances in addition to regularly featuring for Town's WSL Academy side. Bryant will perhaps be best known for her heroics during Town's dramatic penalty shootout victory over Southampton, as she stepped off the bench specifically take a spot-kick, and played her part in sending the Tractor Girls through to the quarter-finals of the Women's FA Cup for the first time in club history.

Lindsey Cooper

When you think of Lindsey Cooper, the phrase 'Club Legend' comes to mind.

After initially progressing through the Club's former centre of excellence, Lindsey made her senior debut for Ipswich Town in 2006 and went on to establish herself as a stalwart in the Town side over many years. After taking two breaks from football to start a family, Lindsey returned to the Town squad and soon re-integrated into the side. She would become a key figurehead and leader within the squad, playing a prominent role as Town finished the 2017/18 season in third place.

Lindsey continued to be a dependable figure for manager Joe Sheehan, who paired her with Lucy Egan and Paige Peake as part of a new look back three. She would play every game throughout Town's historic Women's FA Cup run of 2019/20, before captaining the side in Town's final league match prior to the Covid-19 pandemic. Cooper would make her 200th appearance for the club on the opening day of the 2020/21 season against Hashtag United, becoming just the second player to achieve that feat after fellow club legend, Amanda Crump.

Following Town's promotion to the third tier and the new demands that entailed, the veteran defender was limited to playing a less prominent role within the squad and as a result, only made 4 appearances during the 2021/22 season. Her final appearance for Ipswich Town came in October, coming off the bench in the Blues' 3-0 home victory over MK Dons.

Lindsey departs Ipswich Town having made 210 appearances for the Club, scoring 34 goals.

Silvana Flores

Silvana joined Town in March just two days prior to the Women's FA Cup quarter-final against West Ham United. She would go on to make her debut for the Club as a second-half substitute in that match before making her first start a week later against Plymouth Argyle.

The Mexican midfielder, who became the first senior international player to represent Town, sadly saw her time with the Blues cut short by injury, and was limited to just those two appearances during her brief time in Suffolk.

Silvana returns to Tottenham Hotspur following the conclusion of her short-term spell with Town.
Ipswich Town Football Club would like to place on record it's gratitude to the departing players for their commitment, dedication, hard work, and contribution throughout their time at the club.

They will always be held in the highest regard and be recognised for playing their part in largely successful time for Ipswich Town.

We wish them the very best and utmost success for the future.
