Town will face recently rebranded Hashtag United at home on the opening day of the 2020/21 Women's National League season as the fixtures for the first half of the season were announced.
The Tractor Girls will once again kick off their new campaign on home turf as Hashtag United (formerly AFC Basildon) become the first visitors to the Goldstar Ground since February when the season commences on Sunday 20th September.
Town didn't face the Essex side in a league fixture before the season was curtailed but did knock them out of the FA Cup with a resounding 5-0 victory back in November. The Blues’ testing start to the new campaign continues as the Town make their first away trip of the season to fellow Essex side Billericay Town, who the Tractor Girls defeated 2-1 in a top of the table clash in September.
Home games against both Cambridge sides follow before three consecutive away trips to face Kent Football United, and two London sides in the form of Leyton Orient and Actonians.
The Tractor Girls then host Enfield Town before the first East Anglian Derby of the season away to Norwich City on Wednesday 2nd December. Town then conclude their 2020 schedule with a trip to fellow promotion hopefuls AFC Wimbledon and a calendar year home finale against Stevenage.
The Women's National League have stated to it's member clubs that all fixtures due to be played in 2021 are still to be confirmed as a result of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Town will of course announce their remaining league fixtures once confirmation has been received from the Women's National League.
Town have also been advised by Felixstowe & Walton United that a maximum of 400 fans will be allowed to attend home games until further notice, per government guidelines.
